Denise Pilgrim This book of short readings, inspired by spirit, is aimed at those taking Spiritualist meetings and all who seek spiritual upliftment. My name is Denise Pilgrim and I have been a member of Harrow Spiritualist Church - The Light On The Hill - for over 20 years. When told I would need to do a reading for each service I chaired, I thought that all I would need to do is find a book from the library on spiritual matters and read an inspiring section to the congregation. I would search and search the books, but could never find just what I wanted to say. I then began to ask Spirit for some inspirational words to share with the congregation and the words began to flow quite easily and I felt satisfied with what I was receiving. After the services, members of the congregation would occasionally ask me for a copy of my reading, as they had enjoyed it so much. I kept each reading that I received. These have formed this book. It has been said to us many times by communicators from the world of spirit that there is but a thin veil which separates this physical world from the world of spirit. The love of our loved ones in Spirit is never far away from us. That love seeks to embrace us constantly as the short readings in this book will prove.
